Rather than keep that info to myself, I put the details down on a series of maps. I simply found myself trying to optimize my gathering route through the expansion areas already. Not to mention it won’t list every gathered material found across Endwalker. It’s intended for players who already know a fair bit of what they’re doing. This is by no means meant to be a fully comprehensive guide to playing a Disciple of the Land (a.k.a. Hence the purpose of this Legendary node route guide for Endwalker! This is a good way to maximize your crafting material yields (and/or your profits). Players that know exactly where to go and what to do can hit every single node in quick succession without stopping. Luckily, there’s a bit of a rhythm to this. Legendary crafting materials only appear during specific times of the virtual day - twice every 24 in-game hours. Once you’ve gotten all that you still need to wait. You need high-level gathering gear, some halfway decent Materia, and a load of White Gatherers’ Scrips to even start. The new ones found in each Endwalker patch are no different. Note2: After the collectables changes in patch 5.4, older nodes with formerly dual-use Crafting Materials now have new collectables present, these are marked for clarity.The various Legendary gathering nodes in FFXIV take a long time to unlock and a great deal of patience to conquer. Non-collectible versions of these fish have no use whatsoever. Note: The Collect ability must be active to catch any fish as a collectible. See the tables below for when and where Ephemeral Nodes spawn, as well as which Collectables reduce into which aethersand. The higher the collectability of the item is, the greater are the chances of getting higher quantity of items.Players can unlock Aetherial Reduction by completing the level 56 quest No Longer a Collectable.Players can unlock Collectables by completing the level 50 quest Inscrutable Tastes.Ephemeral Nodes are active for four Eorzean Time / in-game hours. Another difference is that Ephemeral Nodes spawn in clusters of 3, and will continually respawn like normal nodes as long as it's still within the time window. Unlike Unspoiled Nodes and Folklore Nodes, Ephemeral Nodes do not get called out on the minimap with a direction indicator, so players will need to use Lay of the Land or Arbor Call to locate them. As for the Crystals and Clusters acquired, they will normally be the same type as the ones already gatherable from the node. Each particular Collectable can only reduce into one kind of aethersand. The type of aethersand you get upon Aetherial Reduction depends on the item you reduce. They convert into crystals, clusters, and varying types of aethersand.
